Use this checklist to get started with MARA in only a couple of minutes and make sure you have all relevant features set up.

1 - Activate your MARA Account
Verify your Email
Once you've signed up, or have been invited to a MARA account, you receive an email with a link to log in. Make sure you also check your spam folder.
After you log in, you will see your MARA Inbox and can now follow the steps below to get started.
If you signed up for a new trial you will first be guided through the initial onboarding flow to set up your property. You can read more about that here.
2 - Customize your replies
In your reply settings, you can customize MARA's AI for your property to get the most personalized replies and minimize manual editing:
Add your Signature Video
Add your signature(s) for the AI to use at the end of your replies.
Activate the Brand Voice Video
You can choose between two AI versions for your review replies (can be changed anytime):
- The MARA AI: follows best practices for review replies, and you can choose between a formal or a casual tone. Per default, we use the MARA AI with a formal tone.
- Your Brand Voice: If your hotel already replies to reviews, you can select the Brand Voice. This AI version is automatically trained on your published replies to match your tone and style of writing.
Add Smart Snippets Video
While the AI Version determines the tone of your replies, Smart Snippets provide the AI with information about your property. By adding Smart Snippets you can tell the AI how to respond to recurring topics (positive and negative ones). Create first Smart Snippets for your property before getting started. Activate the Pre-Generation of Replies Video
MARA can automatically generate response drafts for new reviews over night, so that you only need to check and publish the suggested replies. We strongly recommend activating the pre-generation for all your reviews here to use the Inbox as efficiently as possible.
You also find our advanced language settings at the bottom of your automation rule. Here you can determine in what languages MARA should generate the response drafts (e.g., reply to German reviews in German, and to reviews in all other languages in English, or always reply in the guest's language). Add missing Integrations for direct replies Video
Make sure you've set up all relevant integrations here so that you can publish replies directly from your Inbox using the "send" button.

4 - Invite other users
You can invite as many other users to your account as you wish in your account settings under Users. Here you can also manage their roles and assign them to different properties.
